The Technology Committee
• 8 students, 2 from each school
• Aims to accomplish the following: (1) provides the student perspective on that affect students, (2) provides input and feedback on that support students, (3) brings related to IT to the attention of IT management and (4) facilitates between KUMC IT management and KUMC students

The Street Fair Committee
• The focus of this committee is to the KUMC Street Fair, which occurs annually. The Street Fair is an outdoor that incorporates the surrounding Rosedale community as well as KUMC. The event is partners with the Rosedale Rainbow Parade. This is an “all-school” event that relies on student involvement from Nursing, Graduate Studies, Allied Health, and Medicine. Working on this project provides a great creative outlet for a wonderful cause, as all proceeds go to charity. The presidents of this committee will oversee several different Street Fair sub-committees.

The Kirmayer Fitness Center Committee
• 4 students, 1 from each school
• Discusses any issues relating to KFC and its facilities, including purchases, , , , and . These 4 members will represent students' opinions regarding KFC policy and serve as on the committee.

The Student Health Advisory Committee

• Identify the of KUMC students, help the Student Health Center at KUMC as well as fulfill the role established for it by the contract between the State of Kansas and the State sponsored health insurance plan

The Collegiate Newspaper Readership Committee
• 4 students, 1 from each school
• Oversees the implementation of the pilot program and analysis of student feedback. Specifically, the committee will perform an of students to determine the value of the program. If SGC votes to implement the program, this committee will be in charge of that process.

The Legislative Committee
• 8 students, 2 from each school
• Eencourage voter turnout and understanding of key issues and how they effect our "microchosm" of KUMC and the state/country at large. We would like to focus on issues that have more gravitas to students, either in direct connection with the effect of proposed legislature on student life or even those more personal issues (such as stem cell research).

• State Deferred Building Maintenance - In essence, each year the state withholds money that is supposed to be used for university maintenance. Necessary repairs go untouched due to a growing backlog of $727 million. Learn more.
• National Association of Graduate and Professional Students - NAGPS acts as a clearinghouse for graduate and professional student organizations, serves as an advocacy group for graduate-professional student needs and rights at all levels, and addresses a broad range of issues via our national committees.
